NatureBox is a subscription-based service that delivers healthy snack boxes to your doorstep. Founded in 2011 by Gautam Gupta, who once struggled with obesity himself, the company is dedicated to helping people live healthier by incorporating organic snacks into their diet. Continue reading our Nature Box review to learn the ins and outs of this delivery service.

What’s in the box?

To start this Nature Box review, we’ll tell you a couple of words about this acclaimed company. Deemed as one of the best food subscription boxes, NatureBox offers a free trial period of 14 days in which you’ll be automatically enrolled after subscribing. You will have to pay only a shipping fee to receive a free box which consists of big island pineapple, aged cheddar lentil loops, vanilla animal cookies, chocolate chip cookies, crispy snickerdoodles, and vanilla bean wafers. According to many Nature Box reviews, the free box is totally worth it as it gives you a fair perspective of what NatureBox actually is.

Each box you will receive after your monthly subscription starts will contain a variety of nutrition-approved snacks like seeds, nuts, dried fruits, granola, and bars free from high fructose corn syrup, trans fats, hydrogenated oils, and artificial colors, sweeteners, and flavoring. There are over 100 guilt-free snacks to choose from, and each month new flavors are added. Moreover, NatureBox snacks easily cater to any diet, providing many vegan, nut-free, soy-free, and gluten-free options.

How does NatureBox work?

The NatureBox website provides a seamless shopping experience and great savings. If you’re a first-time shopper, you can browse the catalog, pick the products you like, and proceed to checkout where you can create an account and become part of the NatureBox members-only club. Once you become a member, you’ll enjoy extra benefits and discounts. The membership fee will cost you $5 per month; however, those $5 will go to your credit which you can use towards your next purchase.

After subscribing, NatureBox offers a 14-days membership trial period in which you will receive a free snack box, as already mentioned in our NatureBox free box review above. After the trial period finishes, your membership begins, and you will start receiving a box of snacks on a monthly basis. You can choose which snacks are delivered in each shipment by choosing from over 100 options, or you can leave up to NatureBox to deliver a specially created selection of snacks.

Moreover, there are the unlimited NatureBox Office snacks plans which offer 50 different snacks to choose from, starting at $12 per employee.

NatureBox also offers gift boxes. The 6-snack gift box called Just a Taste includes big island pineapple, white cheddar caramel popcorn, honey BBQ crunch, aged cheddar lentil loops, salt & vinegar veggie chips, and vanilla bean wafers. More Please is a 12-snack gift box that contains the NatureBox best-selling snacks including nuts, fruit, chips, and cookies. Then, there’s The Full Spread gift box which includes a collection of 20 sweet, savory, and spicy snacks, including chips, nuts, trail mixes, fruit, and cookies. Finally, you can go for It’s a Party gift box if, as the name itself suggests, you’re planning a party. The box includes 50 different snacks including trail mixes, fruit, nuts, and cookies.

NatureBox subscription policies

After placing an order at NatureBox, you will receive your package within 1-2 weeks. The shipping is free for every order of $25 or more in the continental US. Outside the continental US, it will cost $4.95.

The billing occurs automatically each month on the first Sunday or Thursday following the date of your sign up. You can cancel your subscription whenever you want; just make sure to contact NatureBox at least three days prior to the next billing cycle and make the updates. According to a Nature Box subscription review, it’s better to contact the company directly in order to receive a billing summary for your record.

Nature Box Pricing

Each NatureBox snack or snack box has an individual price, but as mentioned before in this Nature Box review, all members enjoy special discounts on all items. Often, there’s a Nature Box coupon too, so make sure to check it beforehand.

If you sign up for the NatureBox trial period, keep in mind that your monthly subscription will begin after the 14 days pass and you will be billed $29.99 (shipping included) in order to receive deliveries of 8 full-sized snacks every month. The monthly shipping fee of $5 is waived when you begin the membership. Additionally, many Nature Box reviews (2018) were in favor of the open membership plan where you can pay $50 annually and get snacks at a discounted price instead of automatically receive a new box each month.

As for the prices for the unlimited Office plans, they start at $12 per customer, which comes down to only 30 cents per day. When it comes to the prices of gifts, the 6-snack gift box costs $36.99, the 12-snack box is $59.99, the 20-snack gift box costs $89.99, while the 50-snack box is $204.99. If you want some additional perks, the NatureBox referral program enables you to give your friends a free box and get $20 for every friend who tries it.

Is NatureBox worth trying?

Although there are several alternatives to NatureBox like HelloFresh, Love with Food, and Graze Box, NatureBox is worth a try. For example, in a battle of NatureBox vs Graze Box, Nature Box reviews make a case for this website due to its impressive assortment of tasty and healthy snacks and providing complete control over snack choices. However, a random Graze box review will show that they have a plethora of great offers as well. In addition, as discussed in our Nature Box review, there are many membership benefits and discounts which make a good deal. Make sure to check NatureBox Reddit experiences from people who have tried it.
